~Love is a lot like a guitar. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever.

I think sometimes in one's life, you take steps to get to where you would like to be, but sometimes, the path you take doesn't end up where you expected it to be. I think that is what has happened to me. I always knew music would be in my life, one way or another. But I never thought for one moment it would go this far.

I am Clarke Isaac Hanson, formerly known as "Ike" from the band Hanson. I am 23 years old, and I have loved every year of my 23 years. Maybe not every moment, because I have to admit... my life has been very hard on me at times. But I guess that's what life is all about. I'm a romantic fool---I always end up getting hurt. And I'm definitely very goofy. I like girls, what can I say? I don't have a specific girl. See, love is a universal thing, and if you love someone, it doesn't matter what they look like. All that matters is that you love them, and that you know you can trust them forever. A girlfriend will be nice in the late future, but right now if I marry anyone, it'll be my guitar.

I have my bad days. Doesn’t everybody? Nobody's angels. And I sure as hell ain’t. I think I am anything but good most of the time. I have a great temper. And my brother’s ain’t angels either Taylor is very good at being sneaky.

I have dark blond wavy hair (not that I like to admit it), brown eyes, I stand about six foot three and I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma USA. The Instruments I play are Guitar, piano, bass, and mandolin. I also like to pretend to play the drums, as I have no sense of... well whatever it takes to play those damn noisy things. (joking) I've always dabbled in the drums. But I am a guitarist not a drummer, so I would refrain from saying that I actually play the drums. You wouldn't want me as your drummer in your band. I bite my fingernails it's very bad for a guitarist.
I love Writing poetry and books, directing music videos, cigars. I think settling back in a huge comfy chair with a nice drink, a cigar and some good music is bliss.

Just so you know we're not a novelty act, and we don't plan to be. I know people say that about us. But we love making music, and we love what we're doing. We love where we are, and we want to keep doing it for the rest of our lives. I know there's a lot of people who don't like Hanson...but you know what? I don't give a rip!

So yes. This is my journal.
